Our August meeting was filled with a special speaker, our own Pat Harrison who also shared her work and provided a workshop. We enjoyed Show and Tell and just being together!
This piece was created from her husband's suit he wore to their wedding with other wedding mementos. What a special way to preserve special items.
A beautiful scrappy quilt!
Sheila finished this quilt for herself and for her husband, Journey to infinity.
She chose colors that express ocean sunrise and sunset, a special quilt, specially created. She estimates it took her 330 hours.

Our members finished many quilts to be donated locally under the direction of our Outreach Committee.
In honor of Tora S who recently passed away. We honored her recently for her amazing leadership and guidance for our Outreach Quilts, donated to local groups.
There are always ready to take packets to be worked on in many stages to be
donated locally when finished.
Placemats are being collected for Meals on Wheels. The placemats will be delivered with the holiday meal this December.
We exchanged blocks in an optional Half Square Triangle block exchange.
In honor of Tora. We will miss her at our meetings. She possessed incredible knowledge about the history of textiles, and guided us with our Outreach Quilts
