Ninigret Quilters is an organization for quilters of all abilities in the Rhode Island and southeastern Connecticut area. We meet on the second Tuesday of every month at 7pm at the Westerly Senior Center, 39 State Street, Westerly, Rhode Island (Google Maps) to share our common passion of quilting. Guests and new members are always welcome!

We meet in person March through December, except monthly meetings will be held via ZOOM in Jan & Feb (or when necessary due to Covid restrictions)

Our January and February meetings and workshops will be by ZOOM!!
We have two nationally acclaimed, award-winning quilters as speakers and workshop presenters in January and February.

Meeting:  January 13, Tuesday,  at 7 PM via ZOOM
Tara Faughnan will present on the topic, "Color and Design."

Workshop: January 14, Wednesday, 10-4 via ZOOM
Tara will present her workshop called Scrappy Lone Star.

Our speaker will be Jane Sassaman.  Jane will share her trunk show of her Textile Treasures.

Workshop: February 11, Wednesday from 9-3 via ZOOM.
Jane will present her workshop entitled, "Pattern Play."




Meeting: March 10, Tuesday, 7 PM

We invite all members to come together for these Outreach Workshops:
        -Thursday, 12/11/2025, at Habitat for Humanity office, 1645 Shannock Rd, Charlestown, RI 02813, 9am - 3pm

        -Saturday, 1/17/2026,  at Westerly Senior Center,  9am - 3pm

        -Thursday, 2/12/2026, at Habitat for Humanity office, 1645 Shannock Rd, Charlestown, RI 02813, 2pm - 7pm

Please note the variety of locations and times of these events.  We hope that at least one will fit into each member’s schedule and that the variety makes it possible for even more members to attend.  These workshops are held periodically throughout the year to provide an opportunity to enjoy time together and focus on outreach tasks and tackle some of the larger projects. Come and join in on the fun
