 APRIL 2023

Our meeting - Guest Speaker - Show and Tell

Our April guest speaker was Veronica Mays.  She is a textile artist from Rhode Island who works with fabrics in somewhat unique and fun ways.

She shared many of her art pieces and quilted jackets.

To see more of her work, click this link to her website:   conakysquilts

Here Veronica helps Tina model one of her jackets with a quilted hat.
We loved seeing Tina model!

Veronica Mays shared many of her art pieces.

Fiber was added to this piece.

Veronica shared this piece with images of women
she would like to see as president of the United States.

Her work expresses ideas about her family, culture, and beliefs.

We enjoyed chatting with Veronica and exploring her pieces of art.
