During a South County Habitat for Humanity Home Dedication in Exeter, RI on March 2, Nicole presented three quilts to Virginia and her two children as they begin their life in their new home.
"A house becomes a home when there is a quilt on every bed."
Virginia completed her own volunteer hours, and completed New Homeowner training with Habitat. She did this while working three jobs as a Certified Nursing Assistant and taking care of her family, in the midst of a pandemic. The process took four years- longer due to covid.
Alice H, Pat H, and Mary H. attended as well.
