During our March meeting we met our new board members. Many shared quilts they have made, whether from past or recent so we could get to know them better as quilters and as our new board members.
Pat G is our new vice president along with Jenny P. They will work together to plan our program. That includes selecting our speakers, people who work in the quilting or textile field. They will present talks about their work and present workshops for our guild members.
Kathy F told us she is not a finisher. For her quilt she used strips and created a circle center. For her quilt, she used strips and created a circle center.
Merri shared a quilt she created that was created by choosing six colors. It took her six to seven years to finish.
Jane has taken on compiling the newsletter that goes out monthly on the first of every month.
She completed this quilt and replaced the tan with white.Jane is known for her longarm designs.
Berni will greet you at the door and will ask you to sign in
so she can keep track of our members.

Cheryl created this nautical themed quilt. Cheryl teaches quilting and also does longarm quilting. Cheryl and Alice are working together to plan our
2025 Quilt Show.
Our Outreach Committee organizes the creation of quilts that will be provided to local community services and hospitals. Our quilts have been donated to Habitat for Humanity, Hasbro Children's Hospital, Project Linus, local veterans, and more. These quilts are often made by a number of our members. Many hands create light work. We really do love to work together!
This is a very fun quilt Rita made for local donation through our Outreach Committee. Rita successfully used egg fabric for the borders that really made us smile! She certainly made it work.
Heidi is the @media person and she manages the guild's social media pages that include Facebook and Instagram. This Medallion Quilt was designed by Tina and Sharon in 2019 as our mystery quilt. Heidi designed the borders with her own hand applique.
Barb is our New England quilt Museum rep. She loves all styles of quilts. She has had her work in many quilt shows and at the New England Quilt Museum.
