Ninigret Quilters is an organization for quilters of all abilities in the Rhode Island and southeastern Connecticut area. We meet on the second Tuesday of every month at 7pm at the Westerly Senior Center, 39 State Street, Westerly, Rhode Island (Google Maps) to share our common passion of quilting. The Half-Square Triangle Unit

This versatile unit can be made in many different ways. Here are links to instructions to help you find the method that works best for you.

For our swap blocks, you will need to make 3" finished units (3.5" unfinished). 

The basics: Cut 3-7/8" squares

Cut squares at 4" and trim to size

Bonnie Hunter's directions for using the Easy Angle ruler (start with a 3.5" strip)
