At our November meeting we had speakers from the University of Rhode Island Historical Costumes and Textiles Department speak about the history and documentation of Rhode Island Quilts.
Dr. Linda Welters and Susan Jerome shared information from their study.
Penny brought in a quilt dated 1840! The pattern is " Feathered Stars in a Garden Maze"
