Our October meeting featured the preview of our upcoming Birds & Blossoms Quilt Show to be held at the Westerly Armory, 8 Dixon Street, Westerly, RI on Friday through Sunday the 13th through 15th of October. Our co-chairs, Sharon D and Roberta B presented a Powerpoint presentation showing the Award winners of the Quilt Judging.
Habitat for Humanity
Tora presented two completed quilts ready for our next Habitat Famiies.
This one is suitable for a young boy.
And this Habitat quilt is destined for an adult.
Show & Tell
There was a request for another look at our Migrating Magnolias Raffle Quilt.
Tickets are still available and the drawing will be this sunday, October 15th
at the Westerly Armory.
Nancy L started several small quilts at Camp Canonicus.

Nancy started this in March and has just revisited it.
Barbara C started this at last month's Dresdon Village workshop.
She did a Halloween theme with bats and witch hats
although she used no Halloween
specific fabrics.
Sheila H designed a fun present for the babies that have been welcomed to
her family lately. She used quilting and embroidery to customize this gift
complete with a photo pocket.
