January 2018

In January, we were so lucky to have Timna Tarr visit for a trunk show and class the next day. Many of the photos I'm sharing are also on her website. Timna has an incredible sense of color as you'll see in these photos.

This black beauty was begun by Timna's grandmother. Timna added the sashing and red stars along with some amazing quilting.

Ninigret was able to use the spotted quilt as a pattern for our raffle quilt years ago. Timna appliqued the circles, while we did inset circles using a method taught by Pat Harrison.
George Washington is fussy cut and appliqued in each square.

Appliqued circles. Timna is wonderful with her smooth applique.
Eggs. Can you find the double yolker?
Timna's cousin's daughter. The sun was in her eyes.
