Ninigret Quilters is an organization for quilters of all abilities in the Rhode Island and southeastern Connecticut area. We meet on the second Tuesday of every month at 7pm at the Westerly Senior Center, 39 State Street, Westerly, Rhode Island (Google Maps) to share our common passion of quilting. Guests and new members are always welcome!

Our next meeting will be held on March 13th, 2018 at the Westerly Senior Center. Our speaker will be the author and designer Cary
Flanagan of Something Sew Fine Quilt Design. Cary's talk
will be on her 28-year quilt journey from beginning quilter
to professional quilt designer and author. She will have a
trunk show and vend her patterns, books, etc.

November Show & Tell

My apologies for the delay in posting these photos from the November 2013 meeting. Apparently, I've disposed of my notes, so I'll provide as much info as I can remember. If you have something to add, please send Tina an email.

Shari's Star Struck is brilliant. (free pattern from Bonnie Hunter)

Ellie made this sweet chicken table runner from a piece of fabric (the yellow & white curvy print) that she picked up from the scrap table at the show.

Joyce made a sweet baby quilt.

Erin started making bow ties for her stylish son.

Pat showed a baby quilt top that her daughter made.

Pat also showed one of her latest published quilt patterns.

Tina showed the T-block quilt that she made from a pattern by Anita Grossman Solomon (available in Quiltmaker March/April 2014).

Tina also finished a quilt for her son's graduation from Marine Corps boot camp.

Members enjoyed making Christmas ornaments in a workshop taught by Barbara B.
